UK Children's Free Book Competition - Part 1

Firstly, to all the schools who have entered / registered your interest, thank you very much for your support. You now don't have to do a single thing more, apart from wait to hear from us at the end of February to see if you had won one of the four (or five) boxes of books we've put together from the donations sent to us by the publishers.
The rest of the competition is now up and running - which means, specially selected free books are up for grabs for individual school children - UK only, I'm afraid. Click this link to read ALL the rules and try and comply by them as much as possible. The entries close at midnight on the 28th February - you may enter for as many books as you like, but not several times for the same book, as that isn't fair.
Today's book up for grabs is the by one of my favourite authors - Garry Kilworth.

The Hundred Towered City by Garry Kilworth is published by Atom who is one of the five publishers sponsoring the free books to schools competition.
Synopsis of the book:
What awaits Jack, Annie and Davey when they are transported back in time to the gothic city of Prague, to search for their missing parents? Trying to avoid capture by the secret police, they find themselves running through dark and dangerous cobbled streets and meet some very shady characters.
Where are their parents and who has stolen the key to the time machine?
Alchemists, mythical creatures and a man with a hook for a hand hold the answers they’re looking for.
Will our young heroes be in time to save their parents from eerie Karlstein Castle? And even if they do, how will they return to the present day without the key?
Read the review by our fellow blogger Gav of Nextread.

  2. Hi Angela

Yep, all she has to do is email me via the email on the right of this page, with the title of the book in the subject line and she'll go in the draw to win. Naturally she can enter all the upcoming comps too. As long as you are happy that the books she's entering for are right for her age!

    Liz
